Product Description
Sink- floating wash tank is working for washing and cleaning dirt plastics. It is put in the middle of washing plant which is after plastic crusher and before plastic dryer. Different plastics with various natures will need special designs.A good sink floating tank solution is important to the end of the plastic not only for clean but also for capacity. By plenty of water and constantly washing process, the plastics will go ups and downs with fully rolling. A hot tank heating by steam is sometimes necessary when the plastics may stick by oil and glue.
By water density,it can be used to separate the sinking&floating plastics, high density plastics will sinking into water like PET flakes, low density plastics will floating on the surface of water like PE film,PP flakes.
The plastics like WEEEE household electrical plastics will have a very better separation here by water and salt.

Usually the sink floating tanks are divided by plastics sinking or floating.
For Floating films:
The film is lighter than water, so it is always floating on water.
Sometimes the films may with sand,mud or some other sticks. Here we need to make a deeper rolling pusher. It will ensure films to stay a longer time in water, and moreover we add a screen in the middle of the tank to stop endless fall. In the end of the tank, we usually add a chain conveyor to get a higher capacity.
Hot washing tank:
(Heating by Electric or Steam)
For sink flakes:
Usually the sink flakes like PET bottles will sink into water. We design inclined type washing tank which is more easily than old type. The flakes always stay under the water and will conveyor by a inclined screw fast.
